We always had Ford, Chrysler, or Dodge cars. My dad & uncle preferred working on those types as they were self-taught mechanics. I couldn't buy other ones. Well, I could, but they would give me a look

Today most people can't work on anything, and you need the software to do anything with any of them.
Computers are taking over.
