Note: I'm not making this a hate thread. Anyway, do you mind their strict laws? Could they possibly be justified? O.K., some critics have noted that cultural liberals give them the green light while also giving secularism the same. Is this hypocritical?

Christianity and Judaism are principally just as strict; the only difference is that the light is being shone on Islam.
On point
Principally just as strict is the point. People don't really follow Judaism and Christianity hardcore. Well, some exceptions are Jehovah's Witnesses and Hasidic Jews.
In my opinion, it is a very regressive religion. I do not mind if they choose to follow their own regressive and too strict rules but what bothers me is that the followers of Islam try to enforce those rules on people of other faith and do it not peacefully but through violent and aggressive means.
I don't know much about Islam but I have friends who are Muslims and I respect them and their religion too.
All religions in this world teach about humanity. I have Muslim friends and they are very kind. Nobody should judge anyone with religion.
It's a pretty good religion, the bases of most of current laws in the world are derived from Islamic laws. Plus it actually focusses on developing a disciplined free will. It's not oppressive at all, like women have so many amazing right in heritage and respect amongst society that it's mind blowing. Plus it's true that it's just being highlighted in the world.
