I usually hit enter, not sure why but maybe a habit.

Spacebar or enter, always have

I also have that stupid of habit of saying "wait, why can't I find the any key?!" when people are around, because I'm a perpetual 12 year old

I always press the spacebar.

CTRL, doesn't do anything by itself.

Enter or spacebar for me. I think it just makes the most sense for you to press those keys without even thinking about it.

Whenever the computer tells me to press any key I always instantly either go for the enter button or the spacebar. I guess because when I was growing up, when my dad used to have to push any button he would always go for either of the two, and it kind of stuck in my mind and now it's just an instant reaction for me to hit either one of those buttons when asked.
