To defrag or to delete?

Lately I got problem with my phone. I have taken some pictures but they couldn't be saved.

I received a prompt that there's not enough space for my phone. I need to remove dormant apps and bug files in my internal storage.

I remove them from my gallery but yet there's no enough available space. I worry on what's the problem. I clear the memory yet it does exist. Just to find out later that it should be in the internal storage.

Do you meet this kind of problem?

Our housemaid experienced the same problem last month. Her phone's memory was full that she couldn't even delete the pictures and videos to have space. What she did was to copy the pictures and videos in the computer and then she deleted some apps and later the videos and pictures as well. Now her phone is back to normal but with a bigger memory card.
