I read in an article that people who sleep at the same time every night tend to be a lot healthier and more successful than those with irregular sleep patterns. Personally, I usually go to bed anywhere between roughly 1:00 am and 2:30 am. I'm not sure if that qualifies as the same time or if it's too broad of a window. How about you? Do you go to bed at the same time every night?

Weekdays I tend to go to bed at the same time around 10pm due to work.

Weekends I tend to stay up till 12ish I used to be able to stay up till the early mornings but I can't do it anymore. Body just can't stay awake.

I also tend to sleep at the same time every night, I need around 5 hours of sleep minimum so that I will not be groggy, so my sleep is consistent.

Sleeping at the same time helps to sleep well. When you sleep at the same time, it will also be easier to fall into sleep easily. I try to go to bed at the same time every night, but some time it is just not possible.

I have to agree that sleeping at the same time every night has health benefits. My bedtime is 9 pm to 10 pm because I wake up at 5 am. When I sleep late I would have a slight headache in the morning. When I sleep too early then I would wake up too early and if I force myself to sleep more then that can also cause a slight headache that I do not like.

I am a late bird and an early riser. I can't sleep before midnight and I always wake early. It's not unusual for me to go to bed at 1am and get up around 6am. It's probably not good for me but I am retired and can nap in the day.

I've been retired now for 10 years and can dictate what time I go to sleep, and what time I want to awake. But...by 10:00 p.m. I am falling asleep on my sofa so it's usually me under the cover by 10:30. As to awakening it's anywhere from 6:30 a.m. to 8 a.m.

As a retiree I lead a lifestyle that doesn't consume much energy, so getting a lot of sleep isn't something I worry about. The hardest thing I do is shovel snow and split wood in the winter. Mowing the lawn (self propelled lawnmower) and doing short hikes (2 K) in the summer.

Every once in awhile I feel motivated and will dust the cobwebs off of my exercise bike and do sit ups. (how did I ever get so lazy?)

Yeah, 10 PM seems to be the checkout point for me but that 0300-0400 hr is around the time when my brain is saying it’s time for coffee and maybe 15 minutes worth of crunches and planks.

Now, so far as how you got lazy @Deleted User, it’s because we derned well earned the right to get lazy. I’m pretty sure that in the black book of retirement rules it plainly says that anyone who has worked their rear off for 60 years or more and is past 70 years of age can sit down any time we feel like it.
Why, I have even developed the “procrastination“ calendar whereby instead of Monday through Sunday I have: Idle-day, Slothful-day enervaged-day, loafing-day, indolent-day, torpid-day and of course the day to go to the church house day, Langourous-day.

Do note that I am extremely hard pressed to get all of my lazy stuff done by 10 PM but if I do not get it done, then I put the other part my lazy days off until the next day.
