When I was young I often hear my grandmother about the pains caused by rheumatism. I cannot imagine what kind of pain was annoying her leg because she can still walk in the natural way. She said that the pain is like in her bones. Dear me, that is scary. When it was my mother's turn to have a bad knee I brought her to a specialist for a check up just to be sure that it was not bone cancer that was bothering her. Yes, rheumatism is a pain not in the neck but in the leg and knee.

Do you have any suggestion for a remedy to the pain?

What kind of rheumatism pain she has? Suggest she should go to a skilled rheumatologist to figure that out, it's expensive but sure going to help for the treatment. There are different medications but some of the arthritis are not curable. I've ankylosing spondylitis, which is not curable but there is a branch of medical studies in India, Ayurveda, they claim to have cure for it - I've tried medicines from Ayurveda and I've mixed reaction to it.

My Doctor does not generally use the term rheumatism. Instead, arthritis is commonly used by him. In my condition physical exercise is boon.

Just my $.02...
