Our lunch for today is our original recipe of beef casserole. It is cooked in pineapple juice and 7-up (can also use Sprite) and sauteed in garlic, shallot, lemon grass and soy sauce. The secret is in making the sauce sticky so I add a tablespoon of sugar in sauteing together with the stock that is added from time to time. When the beef is tender add potatoes and carrots. It is best to eat with steamed rice.
