Mountains and Beaches

Do you have mountains or beaches where you live or both? Here we mostly have mountains which I don't mind as I like to do alot of hiking during the summer.

I am surrounded by mountains on all sides. My home is at 2,750 feet (800 metres) elevation as I am at the bottom in a valley. The mountains here are around 8,000-11,000 (3,500 metres) feet high.

Sea is not far away. We used to go there for a change of scene. There is a private property which we have access to that gives a good view.

Where i was born we could look at the Atlantic ocean heck we used to swim in it as kids, that is the one thing i do miss being out west.
