I would have to say that sewing clothes yourself are definitely less expensive than buying them from a store already made. I remember when I was a kid and even still now, my grandma and my mum both make things like clothes instead of buying them so that it is cheaper for them. They also find that they can make clothes of a style they like as well that sometimes they may not be able to find in a store and they also find they can make it a better fitting as well compared to what you would get from a store.
