Significant League Baseball and its fans have brought alerts up lately over an apparent decrease in the ubiquity of baseball in the United States. Falling participation, helpless World Series evaluations, and an absence of broadly perceived stars are frequently referred to as proof of the game's looming breakdown.

Yeah, compared to what was only about 20 years or so ago, League baseball is, “stick a fork in it” done.
The days of nearly every boy having a plethora of baseball cards to trade and the stats of some major league batter or pitcher on their lips are dead.

I think this last year in particular was the straw that broke the camel’s back in that no one could attend the pro games and the attitude of the players seem remarkably negative when questioned. A lot of players (and team owners) were too quick to voice their political views instead of doing what they do best which is to play ball. Stupid on all fronts.

Even Little League and Minor league ball is fraught with their own miseries stemming from the shutdowns so truthfully, I do not know if there will be any kind of a real come-back to the sport and to be sure, I love Little League much more than the pros and semi-pros.
Alas, the days they are a changin’.
