How many meals to take in a day to avoid indigestion?

When I was suffering from indigestion too often I had to consult a doctor because it is not a joke anymore to be having stomach ache every day. The advice is to eat 6 small meals a day. That's breakfast, snack in the mid morning, lunch, snack in mid afternoon, early dinner and then late dinner. The serving is half of my usual amount of meal. Instead of 1 cup of rice I would have half a cup only. That did the trick. Now I am free of indigestion.
 
I will suggest you eat a lot of fruit often, as it aids digestion. Also eating too much of food is not good for the body.
 
I eat only when I am hungry. For example, I don't eat breakfast just because it is 8 o clock and I have to go to the office at 9. I will skip breakfast if I don't feel hungry. I believe a lot of people eat according to the clock. Its 8 in the morning, they eat breakfast, it is noon, they eat lunch, it is afternoon they eat snacks, it is evening they eat dinner. I don't do that
 
Keeping a proper schedule of regular timings for each meal, eating in moderation, having plenty of greens and fruits and drinking plenty of water is usually enough to keep digestive system healthy and free from any problems. But as one ages, we may experience problems in spite of following proper schedule and doing everything right and stick to what suits us best.
 
I have a proper schedule for meal. I eat three times a day, just because i go for workout . Sometimes i take fruits in my breakfast but i always eat healthy otherwise i have to burn calories at gym.
