It's common that we usually act and do certain things that have a huge impact in increasing the carbon footprint we as a single individual have upon the environment.
Like I reduce my carbon footprint by simply doing some common and handy things everyone of us can do.
I don't take my car our unless 3 people want to go the same place or somewhere else. I ride my bike to work and to get some of the things done that don't require me to take out my car, this one is usually hard to do but it's easier if your work place is near to your residence like mine.
I turned to electric, like changed the stoves, central heating system.
And you know what since I'm using most of my stuff effectively and efficiently I'm wasting less resources, this helped me get lesser bills and save money for the past 3 years, now I'm 4,000$ less from getting a new Tesla model Y without a loan.
I wanna know your ways of reducing your carbon footprint on the environment. Maybe I can find a new way of saving some extra money by getting to know your ways of being environment friendly.

I think there is great confusion about electric vehicles. It is sure that they do not burn fossil fuel, however, the elements they use on the battery are concentrated in Africa, this has caused a lot of subjugation of the African population. Electric car manufacturing companies are consuming natural resources tremendounsly.

My issue with electric cars is the nagging question on what fuel is used to produce electricity. The electric generator is fueled by diesel so that is out of the question for the environmental concern. I hope they can produce clean electricity to fuel up the electric cars.

I have the same concerns on this, how are they going to overcome the issues of batteries, Plastics and other materials that come from oil's.

Your concern is completely valid. But EVs actually accommodate less for fossil fuel consumption and green house gase emissions. Plus not all the electricity is produced by fossil fuel powered generators. It's only a fraction and as we are advancing we will definitely reduce the harmful effects of these fuels on the environment.

Only recently have I been paying closer to my habits as a consumer. I once read that having one meal a day without meat is a great way to reduce our carbon footprint. I also try to reuse products and their containers and if I can't recycle or donate when possible.

The reduced dependency on fossil fuels can have a good impact on climate change. It has already been proved due to recent less consumption of such sources of energy. Pollution has gone down, the air got clean, visibility has improved. All these should certainly be a metric for the evaluation of carbon emission.

We also reuse what we can here, our town has a decent recycle program so our cans and bottles get reused.

I agree here somewhat, if you look at the carbon metric tons that were reduced in the first year of COVID humanity contributes indeed however to say humans are 100% the cause is not fact as some will say,Ice ages have happened over and over along with climate changes.

Floods are becoming common. And so are draughts. Weather has switched to extreme from normal.
