Email remains a leading source for cyber crime, implicated in over 90% of all cyberattacks with the pandemic providing a new vantage point for these attacks.
Since the beginning of covid-19 email security providers reported a surge in pandemic-themed phishing attacks taking advantage of people adjusting to working from home, in environments where they’re easily distracted, with less-secure computer hardware and networks.

I would like to know what ways you use to secure your email?

I can't say I've done anything special to secure my emails. I am hyper aware of potential fraud though so confirming the sender and their email address before clicking on any links has become habit.

Yes some of these emails are VERY convincing. Some of them replicate official email templates and unless you're paying attention to the sender's email address (verifying that the domain is real) you may accidentally click on the link. I remember seeing an Apple impersonator, I literally had to click to expand the sender's email field and saw that it wasn't truly Apple Support. Best believe I reported that one!

was useful to know, tnx. Internet security is a serious issue today that's why I started using ultra fast proxy vpn to get access to connect servcer and it worked for me. Plus with this vpn provides a high level of security and doesn't cost muh. Recommend to try.

Fortunately, this is not something I've fallen for so far and hopefully, I won't in the future. A few big companies were hit by this pretty badly. Apparently, they pretend to be your boss now and ask for immediate bank transfers.
