One radio commentator often said that to have a long life you give your body enough rest and enough sleep. With the food eat only the amount that will drive away the hunger. Do not be eating too much that is over your capacity for you may get indigestion. Now that my weight has been stable for a long time now I can say that eating just enough pays me good. Friends admire my weight because most of them are overweight. They always ask me how I control my weight and there is no secret. I am just not a glutton.... (like them, waheehee).

This is a priceless advice but most people will never comprehend it.

I don't sleep enough. I go to bed at around midnight or later and wake up at around 6am. When it comes to eating I don't eat big meals but I do have a sweet tooth so probably eat too much sugar. I'm not very overweight but I could lose a few pounds if I stopped eating sweets.

I agree, people should not be a glutton and should practice eating healthily, so that their weight would not increase. Proper exercise and diet is the key.

You must remember that gluttony is a sin.

Moderation is good for health, moderation in eating, drinking, sleeping, any kind of indulgence,. If you indulge in anything excessively, it does nothing but harm you. So everything in the right proportion is the key to good health.

It is really difficult to say how much is enough when it comes to sleeping or eating. For some people 6 hours of sleeping might be enough, but for some people 8-9 hours of sleep ia very essential. Those who work manually, need to eat more than somw who does not do much of manual work. Sometime when you have a tiring day, you will be eating more than usual.

Having a proper diet plan and sleeping atleast 6-7 hours is good for health.

To be honest, there is so much information out there that it is almost impossible to differentiate between good and pure garbage.
