The Health Damage of Too Much Sitting.

Studies have discovered that for every two extra hours spent sitting in front of the TV, an individual's danger of death from coronary illness and malignant growth rose essentially.

what do you think about this?

I think that's exaggerated. I've been sitting for more than 2 hours per day and nothing really affected me. How can just being inactive be a threat to your health when you're of normal weight?

There is the so called couch potato who sits in front of the tv all day long that is a risk to the health. Our family doctor said that the common ailment of a couch potato is heart due to lack of exercise and high cholesterol level for eating snack foods. I can say that watching tv excessively can be a liability to the health when it is done regularly. The eyes can also suffer from the constant glare of the tv screen.

What about the people in wheelchairs? I feel like the most harm you can get from too much sitting in front of the TV is a change of your mindset. Your way of viewing the world is going to change.

I do think it's bad for health.
If you watch TV for hours, you will be totally exhausted and you wouldn't be able to do much. I try to keep a schedule time for watching TV and it shouldn't exceed more than an hour, on a weekday. Also, you need to give some rest for your eyes as well.

To be honest, watching TV for hours make me lethargic.
