Sometimes we unknowingly do things that damage our eyes, such as rubbing them or staring at a screen for too long. Such damaging behaviours should be avoided or limited to take care of our eyes. It is recommended that we periodically shift our eyes away from the screen when working on a computer for long. Furthermore, we can incorporate foods into our diets that maintain or improve our eye health.
 
Yes I do. I see an optician regularly because I have a condition called Amblyopia which means the brain does not send the right messages to the eye so my sight is not so good in the left eye. I used to wear contact lenses but only wear them very occasionally now as I prefer my glasses. I also have an astigmatism in one eye so visiting the optician is very important.
 
Whenever I use my laptop or smartphone too much, it begins to affect my view. It's why I make use of glasses ? wherever I'm online.
 
I care about my eye health. I eat a lot of green vegetables and yellow fruits so that I get enough vitamin A necessary for my eyes. They say green color soothes eyes. Therefore, I keep gree plants in my rooms. Walking barefoot on green grass improves eyeshight, I make sure to walk on green grass at least three times a week. I also visit eye specialist regularly.
 
The caring of eyes is important especially for the older generation. Old folks here say that you have to rest your eyes about 30 minutes before sleeping. That means you do not use the computer or gadget anymore. The glare can harm the tired and sleepy eyes. Upon waking up in the morning let the eyes rest for 10 minutes before washing the face or taking a bath. That is to give time for the eyes to acclimatize especially when the weather is cold.
 
It is very important to take care of eyes. I just close my eyes for atleast 40 mins before i sleep and i take proper sleep.
