Do you drive?

I do but I hate it. I passed my test at the age of 54 which I know is mega late but my mum was having trouble getting around and I wanted to help her. I can honestly say I never really enjoyed it and took 5 attempts to pass my practical test (passed the theory test first time). I have a car but only drive when I have to.

Do you drive and do you enjoy it?

Well i have been driving for sum 40+ years, when i was a kid i could not wait to get driving but all i have done my entire life is drive so I'm a little tired of it.

I imagined you would be in your 30s for some reason but you are obviously older. It's weird the way we get these preconceived ideas about people from their posts. Someone here said recently they always thought I was a man lol!

I wish i was back in the 30 mark, it is funny when you get used to someone posting you can tell gender after a few.

I've been driving since I was just under 16 years old, and I've never been a huge fan of driving. I got my license because I needed a way to get to school every day. I got used to driving every day and it just became mundane, but I've still never reached the point where I get in the car and think "awesome, I'm going to drive to...wherever...today!" I have gotten more into cars over the years, and adored my last car (2015 VW Golf TSI S), and I like my current vehicle, too (2018 Nissan Rogue Sport S).

I live in the middle of nowhere. Without a vehicle you are basically stranded. I'm not a big fan of driving either but I have a great big 4X4 SUV, plus a beaten up old truck that I use for getting my firewood.
I got my drivers license over 50 years ago.

I have been driving for almost eight years now and I still don't like driving. I am surrounded by mountains so a car is super handy.
I got my drivers license at eighteen. I failed the driving test three times.First two times were not even close. The third time I would have aced the test if I did not stop in a keep clear zone.

It's surprising how many drive because they have to and not because they want to. I've never been completely comfortable with it and would rather be driven around by someone else. Luckily my partner is happy to do that.

Passed my test in December 2020 and have been driving ever since. I actually passed on my first attempt without any errors so I was quite happy with that. I love driving because it's just so much fun to just put on some music and drive somewhere.

I loved it as well when I was younger however now its just boring for me.
