Question Do you believe in capital punishment?

For me, there is always the thought of punishing the wrong person, and in many cases they have found the person not guilty years later.
Where do you stand on this?

In rare cases, yes. After they have enough chances to prove their innocence.

I know in the lord's eyes it's wrong but when I watch some of the crimes people commit is it really unjust?

That is a valid argument. Some people ask for it. We cannot have a blind spot against certain degrees of cruelty.

Very tough decision indeed, you are dammed if you do and don't.

I disagree with the death penalty on two grounds.

1. Imposing a punishment that cannot be fixed if a mistake was made should not be allowed in a fallible criminal justice system.
2. Threatening the death penalty does not sufficiently deter people from committing murder.

I do but only for cases where the evidence is watertight and there is absolutely no chance of an innocent person being put to death. Unfortunately, that's not a very thing so it's hard to support capital punishment in the real world.

There are many really UGLY BAD people who do UGLY BAD crimes and I think they need to be gone...what we spend to keep them alive...Makes me question it more and more.

Nope. Only God has the right to give life and only God has the right to take life.
Anything else is murder.
