Cleaning the sewage

In one discussion during the meeting of residents in our village the sewage was in the agenda. Aside from the clogged sewage there were trash being thrown. A dirty sewage is pollution that can even make us sick. Remember that dengue is borne by mosquitoes and clogged sewage with dirt is a good breeding place for mosquitoes. I do not know how this problem can be resolved because we would need a big budget for the cleaning of the sewage in the entire village.

I think for sustainable living, there should be some sort of mechanism to recycle the sewage by the residents themselves. For example, the residents of the building can process sewage and reuse water for cleaning and remaining residue to make organic fertilizer.
