Opinion of American soccer

It's growing, and the standard is starting to get a bit better, but it's following the same trends as the big leagues -- it's growing and getting better while ignoring the fact it should be cultivating American talent. The MLS in particular relies heavily on ex-superstars of the game, alongside a heavy influx of South American talent and then the odd American thrown in. It's what ruined English football, so while it's great that the game is growing and starting to develop proper fanbases, they need to make sure they're not forgetting that leagues should develop talent to help the country, as well.

Also please stop naming the teams after successful teams elsewhere. Inter Miami? Real Salt Lake? Dallas FC SC (...really, Dallas? Dallas Football Club Soccer Club?)? Sporting Kansas City? Minnesota United FC?

...just...PLEASE STOP! Ok, I take back the Dallas one because they did recently rebrand to just FC Dallas, but the point remains...
